There’s an official “Ribbon Cutting Ceremony” for the new TWO MILE BY-PASS TRAIL, that the members and volunteers of the WEST END ATV ASSOCIATION constructed in May of this year. This brief ceremony is going to be held on SATURDAY, JULY 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of the new by-pass trail and TWO MILE ROAD.
We are going to be joined by members of the Forest Service, along with a representative of The Mineral Independent, The Missoulian and hopefully, the Yamaha Corporation, who awarded the grant that allowed us to do this project.
We would like to invite the members of the Mineral County Communities to come out and celebrate this accomplishment with us. The construction of this new trail allows for full, legal access for all types of trail users, whether motorized or non-motorized. The trail dissects an absolutely beautiful part of the forest and with the addition of a fire pit and picnic area at the northwest entrance to the trail, is an enjoyable area to visit for all.
Immediately following the ceremony, West End Atv Association is hosting a free luncheon at the trailhead.
